Ved Mandir

This is located at Western Avenue, Sainik Farms, New Delhi
and children enrolled with it belong to parents who work as
servants, drivers, gardeners, cleaners and daily wage
labourers. These parents can’t afford the education expense
of their children, but are welcome to enroll them at Ved
Mandir.
Activities at Ved Mandir:
6-7 a.m. : Yoga training
7-8 a.m. : Havan, meditation and value education
10-12 a.m. : Regular classes
4-6 p.m. : Regular classes.
Pathshalas

Pathshalas have crèche-cum-daycare centres along with
schools so that working mothers are able to perform their
duty without any hassle. This arrangement also helps working
mothers feed their infants at regular intervals. These
Pathshalas impart both formal and non-formal education.
A sincere effort is being made to seek recognition and
affiliation from appropriate state authorities in respect of
these schools so that children enrolled with these schools
can easily migrate to other higher education institutes.
Apart from free education, children are also provided free
meals thrice a day and free medical check up at regular
intervals. Extra diet and medicine is provided to these
children free of cost, if found under nourished during the
monthly health check up.
Who are the decision makers for running these Schools?

KMGS Trust runs these schools with the financial and
manpower support from Raheja Developers. The school
administration follows a participative approach inviting
students and parents to give their feedback on the
functioning of the school.
What are the future plans of Trust?

KMGS Trust is planning to scale up its existing initiatives
and also trying to diversify its activities in thematic
areas like adult education, up gradation of skills of
existing work force etc. |
